American Association of Petroleum Geologists Foundation Grants-in-Aid
To support graduate (Master's or PhD) students whose research can be applied to the search for, and development of, petroleum and energy-minerals resources, and to related environmental geology issues.
Grants are to be applied to expenses directly related to the student's thesis work, such as summer fieldwork, analytical analyses, etc. Funds are not to be used to purchase capital equipment, or to pay salaries, tuition or room and board during the school year. Students are eligible to win twice.
Open to graduate and doctorate students of any nationality.

Applicants must complete an application form and submit certified college academic transcripts and signed statements from professors commenting on the applicant's academic credentials and endorsements. Applicants must apply online the website being external link.
Established by the American Association of Petroleum Geologists (AAPG) in 1967, the AAPG Foundation is a public foundation, qualified to receive gifts that are tax-deductible for United States of America taxpayers, in support of worthwhile educational and scientific programmes or projects related to the geosciences.
