AIBS Travel Grants


AIBS can provide funding for conference travel for the presentation of papers or organization of panels that include topics relevant to Bangladesh Studies at scholarly conferences.

Award Value

Up to $600 for travel to conferences within the United States. International travel grants have been suspended until further notice due to budgetary constraints

Application procedure

Students who wish to avail of this scholarship grant should submit the following requirements to the Fellowship Coordinator: a duly accomplished scholarship application form, updated resume, letter of support from a previous or current faculty mentor, proof of acceptance of your paper, conference travel proposal that does not exceed three pages, and a summary of budget including travel costs, conference registration and hotel costs.
