Awarded by Australian-American Fulbright Commission
Purpose
These awards are available to professionals from public and private sectors (junior to middle level staff poised for advancement to a senior level research or undertaking a programme of professional development in the United States of America.
Eligibility
Open to resident Australian citizens with a record of achievement poised for advancement to a senior management or policy role. Those holding dual United States of America and Australian citizenship are not eligible.

Study Length
3-4 months. Programmes of longer duration may be proposed, but without additional funding.

Application procedure
Applicants must complete and submit an application form along with three reference reports, already included in the application pack, documentation of citizenship and qualifications. Further information and application packs are available from the website.

The Australian-American Fulbright Commision is a non-profit organization in Australia, established through a binational treaty between the Australian and United States governments in 1949 under the auspices of the United States Educational Foundation (USEFA) in Australia. The mission of the Commission is to further mutual understanding between the people of Australia and the United States through educational and cultural exchange.
