The Iredell Trust provides funding for postgraduate students within the Department of History.

Applicants should have, or expect to obtain, at least a 2:1 Honours or its equivalent in History or a cognate discipline. Awards will be made on the basis of academic record, references and broad outline of dissertation/research area but will also seek to take into account personal circumstances.
The closing date for applications is expected to be in June and all applicants accepted for postgraduate study in the Department by this date will be automatically considered. For confirmation of the details of these awards, please contact the Department of History.
