The Michael Baldwin Memorial Scholarship
Awarded by University of Waikato
To commemorate Michael's commitment to teaching and to assist people in their educational endeavours.
Open to students who are citizens of Papua New Guinea. Preference will be given to applicants who can demonstrate a need for financial support in order to undertake tertiary study. Candidates must be current or intending students, who will be enrolled in an approved full-time programme of study at The University of Waikato in the year of tenure of the scholarship.
Up to $10,000
Applications should include a personal statement indicating how the scholarship will benefit the candidate's particular circumstances and aspirations and must give certified details of the candidate's academic history, accompanied by copies of two recent testimonials.
