Alumini Master's Scholarship

Purpose

To support a student who has graduated with a degree of the University of Waikato and is enrolled for a Masters Degree at this University in the year of tenure.

The Scholarship will be awarded to a student who demonstrates academic merit; who is active in University affairs and who contributes to the activities of the School or Faculty in which they are enrolled; who demonstrates willingness to maintain an active relationship with the Alumni programme; who demonstrates willingness to attend Alumni functions and promotional activities; who is considered to be a good ambassador for the University of Waikato and the Alumni Association.

Eligibility

Open to New Zealand citizens or permanent residents who have qualified for a First Degree from the University of Waikato and be enrolled full-time for a Masters Degree at the University of Waikato in the year of tenure. The candidate must be in their final year of study for the degree.

Award Value

$5,500 plus actual tuition fees up to a maximum of $4,000
