GRDC Grains Industry Research Scholarships
Purpose
To encourage postgraduate training in disciplines that contribute to the research, development and extension priorities of the GRDC and the Australian grains industry.
The Corporation's 5-year research and development plan outlines the objectives and programmes to be covered. Copies of this may be obtained from the Secretariat.
Eligibility
Candidates must be Australian citizens or permanent residents, must undertake full-time postgraduate study, must receive acceptance at a recognised research institution and must gain an Australian Postgraduate Scholarship or an equivalent base scholarship through a host university.

Award Value
A full annual operating budget of Australian $10,000 and an annual tax free top-up of Australian $16,875.
Application procedure
Applicants are required to complete the GRDC’s Grains Industry Research Scholarship (GRS) Application form available from the GRDC website. They must also arrange for three referee reports to be submitted separately.
Closing date
Last Wednesday of October in each calendar year.
