Gurney Wilson Award
Awarded by Royal Horticultural Society (RHS)
Purpose
To help finance horticulture-related projects and to further the interests of horticultural education as the RHS council deems fit.
Recipients must submit a factual report within 3 months of completion, along with an outline of achievements or difficulties, including any unusual problems encountered, e.g., medical or political, and an account of expenses.
Eligibility
Open to the candidates of any age who are UK nationals and foreign nationals residing in the UK, subject to the general conditions of application and who should be able to satisfy the Society that their health enables them to take a project proposed. Financial sponsorship is available to both professional and amateur horticulturists and consideration for an award is not restricted to RHS members. Proposals may be made by individuals or groups.

Limited funds. High-cost projects are expected to receive supplementary finance from other sources, including personal contributions
Application procedure
Applicants must complete an application form, available on request. Application forms can be downloaded from the RHS website external link.
