The RHS Environmental Bursary

Purpose

Established in 2008 with the principal aim of encouraging an environmentally focused horticultural project.

Recipients must submit a factual report within 3 months of completion.

Eligibility

Application is open to UK nationals and to foreign nationals resident in the UK, subject to the general conditions of application. There are no age restrictions. Applicants should be able to satisfy the Society that their health enables them to undertake the proposed project. Financial scholarship is available to both professional and amateur horticulturists and consideration for an award is not restricted to RHS members. Proposals may be made by individual or groups.

Funds are limited. High-cost projects are expected to receive supplementary finance from other sources, including personal contributions

Applicants must complete an application form, available on request. Application forms can be downloaded from the RHS website external link.
