Horserace Betting Levy Board Senior Equine Clinical Scholarships
Awarded by Horserace Betting Levy Board (HBLB)
Purpose
To support postgraduate equine veterinary clinical training. Awards can start at any point in the year following award. The study establishment is responsible for the appointment of clinical scholars. Grants for other types of research projects are available.
Eligibility
Open to holders of veterinary degrees recognised by the RCVS, who have at least 2 years experience in veterinary practice.

£21,484 in 1st year and a contribution to expenses related to the scholarship £10,345

Horserace Betting Levy Board (HBLB)
The Horserace Betting Levy Board (HBLB) operates in accordance with the Betting, Gaming and Lotteries Act 1963. It assesses and collects contributions from bookmakers and the Horserace Totalisator Board and uses these for the advancement of equine veterinary science and education and other improvements within the horseracing industry.
