Awarded by Rhodes University

Purpose
To encourage and enable previously disadvantaged people to pursue their studies at the Honours, Master's or Doctoral level at Rhodes University, as well as to enhance the recipients' ability to contribute to higher education in South Africa.
Scholars must assist with teaching and/or research duties up to a maximum of 6 hours a week in their department of study, without additional remuneration. Awards are for full-time study in attendance at Rhodes University only.
Eligibility
Open to previously disadvantaged individuals with the appropriate qualifications.

South African Rand 35,000 for Honours, Rand 40,000 for Masters and Rand 60,000 for Doctoral

Applicants must submit a curriculum vitae and a full academic record and a letter of invitation indicating proposed degree and subject to be studied.
