To financially support and encourage qualified applicants to pursue careers in either population dynamics and stock assessment or in marine resource economics and also to increase available expertise related to these fields.
Applicants have to be PhD students in population dynamics or marine resource economics or related disciplines concentrating on the conservation and management of living marine resources.
