Henry Luce Foundation/ACLS Dissertation Fellowships in American Art
Awarded by American Council of Learned Societies (ACLS)
To assist students at any stage of PhD dissertation research or writing.
Applicants must be United States citizens and have completed all requirements for a PhD except the dissertation before beginning tenure. They must also be in a department of art history. A student whose degree will be granted by another department may be eligible if the principal dissertation advisor is in a department of the history of art. In all cases the dissertation topic should be object orientated. Students preparing theses for the Master's of Fine Arts degree are not eligible.

US$25,000, plus up to $2,000 as a travel allowance.
