Purpose
To help students initiate careers in cardiovascular research by providing assistance and training in research activities broadly related to cardiovascular function and diseases.
Participation by women and minorities is encouraged. Visit our Web site in mid-March for information.
Eligibility
Open to permanent residents or citizens of the United States. Also for exchange visitors under J-1, temporary worker under H-1, H-1B, O-1 visas. Canadian or Mexican citizens engaged in professional activities or student visa are also eligible.

Award Value
Stipend of US$22,000 per year. Fringe benefit: $3,000.
