AGA Student Research Fellowship Awards
Purpose
To stimulate interest in research careers in digestive diseases by providing salary support for research projects.
Eligibility
Applicants must be students at accredited North American institutions, may not hold similar salary support awards from other agencies. Women and minority students are strongly encouraged to apply.

Foundation for Digestive Health and Nutrition
The Foundation for Digestive Health and Nutrition is the foundation of the American Gastroenterological Association (AGA), the leading professional society representing gastroenterological and heptatologists worldwide. It is separately incorporated and governed by a distinguished board of AGA physicians and members of the lay public. The Foundation raises funds for research and public education in the prevention, diagnosis, treatment and cure of digestive diseases. Along with the AGA, it conducts public education initiatives related to digestive diseases. The Foundation also administers the disbursement of grants on the behalf of the AGA and other funders.
