Purpose
To provide support for a summer research programme of 8-12 weeks and for travel to the Society's annual meeting.

Eligibility
Applicants must be minority medical students enrolled in either MD, MD/PhD or equivalent DO programmes and must be citizens or permanent residents of the United States of America or Canada.

Stipend of US $5,000 and $2,000 allowance for travel, complimentary subscriptions to Blood, guidance of a research and career-development mentor.
