$45,000 per year for postdoctoral fellowship for 2 years (for salary, fringe benefits and consumable costs)
Candidates must complete an application form, available from the FRAXA Research Foundation or from the website. Potential candidates are welcome to submit a one-page initial inquiry letter describing the proposed research before submitting a full application.
The FRAXA Research Foundation funds postdoctoral fellowships and investigator-initiated grants to support medical research aimed at the treatment of Fragile X Syndrome. FRAXA is particularly interested in preclinical studies of potential pharmacological and genetic treatments and studies aimed at understanding the function of the FMRI gene.
