AFPE Predoctoral Fellowships

Purpose

To offer fellowship support leading to a PhD degree.

Succesful applicants are eligible to apply for one renewal for another full year (12 months) if you will be enrolled full-time in your PhD program for another full academic year after AFPE Fellowship ends.

Eligibility

Open to students who have completed at least three semesters of graduate study and who have no more than three years remaining to obtain a PhD degree in a graduate programme in the pharmaceutical sciences administered by, or affiliated with, a United States school or college of pharmacy. The award is also open to students enrolled in joint PharmD and PhDs, if a PhD degree will be awarded within three additional years. Applicants must be United States citizens or permanent residents.

Up to 58 (4 new and 44 renewal Predoctoral Fellowships in pharmaceutical science and 10 new Clinical Pharmaceutical Science Fellowships )

Award Value

Predoctoral Fellowship in Pharmaceutical Science awards at $11,000 per year; new and renewal Predoctoral Fellowship in Pharmaceutical Science awards at $6,500 per year and Clinical Pharmaceutical Science Fellowships at $6,500 per year
