AIER Summer Fellowship
Purpose
To further the development of economic scientists.
There are three core seminars in property rights, scientific procedures of inquiry, and sound money. Each seminar meets two to three hours per week over two weeks.
Eligibility
Open to graduating seniors who are entering doctoral programmes in economics, or those enrolled in doctoral programmes in economics for no longer than 2 years. The programme is not designed for those enrolling into business school.

US$500 weekly stipend plus room and full board
Application procedure
Applicants must submit a completed application form, curriculum vitae, personal statement, writing sample, an outline of the proposed course of study and official transcripts. Scholastic references should be sent directly to the director from the referees.

The American Institute for Economic Research (AIER), founded in 1933, is an independent scientific educational organization. The Institute conducts scientific enquiry into general economics with a focus on monetary issues. Attention is also given to business cycle analysis and forecasting as well as monetary economics.
