Slawson Awards
Purpose
To assist students intending to carry out geographical field research in developing countries to increase knowledge, awareness and understanding of the world in which we live.
Fieldwork must be outside UK and preferably in developing countries
Eligibility
Applicants must normally be United Kingdom citizens, currently be registered for a PhD at a United Kingdom Institute of Higher Education and are encouraged to become Fellows of the Society.

Applicants must submit a proposal, following the guidelines, to the Grants officer by the closing date. There is no application form and more details are available from the website.
