APEC Scholarship

Purpose

To allow outstanding candidates from the APEC member economies except Singapore to pursue the MBA programme at NTU on a full-time basis.

Applications open in November and close in December each year. Invitations for applications will be placed in the newspapers in the capital cities of the APEC countries and on the University's website. International students have to apply for a student's pass from Singapore immigration in order to pursue a full-time course of study in Singapore. The University will assist successful international applicants in their applications for the student's pass.

Eligibility

This scholarship is open to nationals of the following APEC member economies to pursue a full-time Master of Business Administration (MBA) programme at NTU:|Australia, Brunei Darussalam, Canada, Chile, People's Republic of China, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Japan, Republic of Korea, Malaysia, Mexico, New Zealand, Papua New Guinea, Peru, Philippines, Russia, Chinese Taipei, Thailand, United States, Vietnam.At least two years of management or professional experience;proficiency in the English Language; an acceptable score in the Graduate Management Admission Test [GMAT]; should not be on paid employment or accept paid employment or concurrently hold any other scholarship, fellowship, bursary or top-up allowance during the prescribed period of the award.

Award Value

Monthly stipend $1,400; book allowance $500; tuition fee, health insurance, examination fee, other approved costs; overseas Business Study Mission (MBA only); cost of travel to Singapore on award of scholarship; travel home on successful completion.
