Arts NSW is part of the NSW Department of the Arts, Sport and Recreation. Arts NSW advises the Minister for the Arts on all aspects of the arts and cultural activity. Arts NSW works closely with the state's 8 major cultural institutions, providing policy advice to Government on their operations. The institutions manage significant cultural heritage collections and provide services and programmes throughout the state and beyond.
