Trudeau Foundation Doctoral Scholarships
Awarded by Pierre Elliott Trudeau Foundation
To support doctoral candidates pursuing research of compelling present-day concern in areas touching upon 1 or more of the 4 themes of the Foundation: human rights and social justice, responsible citizenship, Canada and the world, humans and their natural environment.
An additional Canadian $20,000 per year will be available to support research-related travel approved by the Foundation, and to cover networking expenses associated with events and joint projects undertaken within the framework of the Foundation's programmes.
Open to a Trudeau Scholar who is registered full-time in a doctoral level programme approved by the Foundation.

Applications to the Foundation must come from the applicant's academic institution as a result of an internal competition.
The Pierre Elliott Trudeau Foundation seeks to promote outstanding research in the social sciences and humanities and to foster a fruitful dialogue between scholars and policymakers in government, business, voluntary sector, professions and the arts community.
