ARIT Fellowship Program
Awarded by American Research Institute in Turkey (ARIT)
To enable scholars and advanced graduate students interested in research in the field of humanities and social science.
ARIT fellowships applicants are responsible for obtaining their research permissions and visas. In general, researchers should seek permission to carry out research from the Directors of the Institutions in which they intend to work.
Turkish law requires foreign scholars to obtain formal permission to carry out research at institutions in Turkey.
In order to be considered, applicants must provide complete information in their applications. Applications and three letters of recommendation must be received by the due date.

The American Research Institute in Turkey's (ARIT) aim is to support U.S based scholarly research in all fields of the humanities and social sciences in Turkey through administering fellowship programmes at the doctoral and postdoctoral level and through maintaining research centres in Ankara and Istanbul.
