Purpose
To provide opportunities for research experience to recent university graduates.
Small grants and assistance may be offered on a discretionary basis to scholars of other nationalities. Archaeology students may be required to assist in excavation carried out by the Institute's staff. Details of activities are published in the Archaeology Abroad bulletin and in the Institute's annual report, copies of which are available on request.

Candidates must submit a letter of application to the Director, BIEA with the names of two academic referees and a curriculum vitae.
