AUC Teaching English as a Foreign Language Fellowships
Awarded by American University in Cairo
To acquire language teaching experience.
A BA with a minimum overall GPA of 3.2 or “Very Good”. Native or near native proficiency in English. Special consideration in selection is given to those with: TEFL/TESL experience in the Middle East; knowledge of Arabic or other languages; BA degree or course work in linguistics, English or a related field.
2 academic years and the intervening summer session
Waiver of tuition fees & a monthly stipend of LE 850 & medical insurance. Non-residents of Egypt are provided with accommodation in the university dormitory or with a monthly housing allowance of LE 1250, medical service & health insurance fees.
