To bring together young scholars from Germany and the United States of America who are nearing completion of their doctoral degrees. It provides an opportunity to debate doctoral projects in a transatlantic setting.


Open to doctoral students in German history at North American and European Universities. Applications from women and minorities are especially encouraged.
