Commonwealth AMDISA Regional Doctoral and Post Doctoral Fellowship
To provide financial and academic institutional assistance to PhD scholars and younger faculty in the South Asian countries, and to contribute to the developement of South Asian academic perspectives networks and communities in management and related areas.
Countries in which fellows can undertake comparative studies are Bangladesh, India, Malaysia, Maldives, Pakistan, Singapore and SriLanka. Please see the website for details external link.
Open to resident citizens of South Asian Commonwealth countries to undertake comparative studies in their home country or at least one of the countries listed. For doctoral fellowships, applicants must be registered PhD scholars in a recognized institution. For postdoctoral fellowships, applicants must be below 50 years of age, must have a doctorate degree and must be employed as a full-time teacher/researcher. See the website for details.

Through the Fellowship Announcement a detailed outline of the research proposal and other supporting documents to be submitted in hard and soft copies is communicated to eligible applicants. The applications are evaluated and fellowships are awarded by a 5-member AMDISA Regional Fellowship Committee.
Commonwealth Fund for Technical Cooperation (CFTC)
Association of Management Development Institutions in South Asia (AMDISA) was established in 1988, with the initiative of leading management development institutions in the SAARC region. It is the only association that networks management development centres across 8 nations and promotes partnership between business schools, business leaders and policy administrators for enhancing the quality and effectiveness of management education in South Asia.
