ACRES Scholarship
Purpose
To give a rural teacher an opportunity to pursue education and training not otherwise affordable within his or her district.
The award will be announced at the March ACRES conference.
Eligibility
Applicants must be citizens of the United States of America, currently employed by a rural school district as a certified teacher in regular or special education, working with students with disabilities or with regular education students and retraining to a special education career.
