To encourage competitive research in understanding the structure and function of the human brain.
Open to candidates who have obtained Honours 1 or equivalent, or Honours 2a or equivalent.
Applicants must send a curriculum vitae, academic transcripts, expression of interest for area of research and details of two academic referees.
Brain Research Institute
The Brain Research Institute (BRI) was established at Austin Health, Melbourne, Australia in 1996. It supports collaboration between specialities in order to develop a better understanding of how a healthy or diseased brain functions. It is an affiliated institution of The University of Melbourne, an administering institution of the National Health & Medical Research Council and a member of Research Australia.
