Purpose
To help students who have greater than average financial need.
Eligibility
Candidates should be planning to pursue a career in nuclear engineering or a nuclear-related field. Candidates must have greater than average financial need, and consideration will be given to conditions or experiences that render the student disadvantaged. Applicants need not be citizens of the United States of America.

Application procedure
Applicants must request an application form and include the name and a letter of commitment from the university the candidate will be attending, the year the candidate will be in the Autumn of the award, the major course of study and a stamped addressed envelope. Completed applications must include a grade transcript and three confidential reference forms.
