NPSC Fellowship in Physical Sciences
Awarded by National Physical Science Consortium (NPSC)
To increase the number of qualified citizens of the United States in the physical sciences and related engineering fields, emphasizing recruitment of a diverse applicant pool of women and historically underrepresented minorities.
Members of underrepresented groups are encouraged to apply.
Open to students who have at least 3.0 grade point average and are graduating seniors or graduate student (up to 2nd year) enrolled in a PhD programme.
The charge to the employer for each student supported is $26,000 annually, of which $20,000 is the student stipend and $6,000 is NPSC's fee to support its operations.
