AMIA Kodak Fellowship in Film Preservation

Purpose

To foster the education and training of the next generation of moving image archivists.

Transportation and housing will be provided at no cost, and the student will be paid an hourly wage to offset other living expenses. Please see the website for further details external link.

Eligibility

Open to applicants who are not below 21 years of age and are full time students with a grade point average of at least 3.0 in their recent academic programmes.

Award Value

A $4,000 scholarship for the upcoming academic year. Complementary registration to the AMIA Conference. A four-week summer internship at Kodak and other film restoration facilities in Los Angeles.

Applicants must submit an application form, official transcript, essay of no more than 1,000 words describing the applicant's interest and 2 reference letters.
