For college and university production performances, a maximum of US$5,000; otherwise no restrictions on requested amounts

Application procedure

Applicants must complete an application form. Guidelines and forms are available at external linkor from the Foundation directly.

Closing date

November 1st. Applications for support of major professional productions/festivals/exhibitions, etc., will be evaluated on a case-to-case basis without application deadlines.

Kurt Weill Foundation for Music

The Kurt Weill Foundation for Music is a non-profit, private foundation chartered to preserve and perpetuate the legacies of the composer Kurt Weill (1900-1950) and his wife, singer and actress Lotte Lenya (1898-1981). The Foundation awards grants and prizes, sponsors print and online publications, maintains the Weill-Lenya Research Center and administers Weill's copyrights.
