Artist Trust Fellowships

Awarded by Artist Trust

Purpose

To reward practicing professional artists of exceptional talent and demonstrated ability. The fellowship is a merit-based, not a project-based award.

Eligibility

Candidates must be 18 years or older, and should not be a matriculated student. Only Washington State residents may apply.

Awarded in two-year cycles: music, media, literature and crafts disciplines are awarded in even-numbered years. Disciplines are awarded in odd-numbered years. Emerging fields and cross-disciplinary performing, visual, traditional and folk artists.

Application procedure

Candidates must complete an application form (available online), submit work samples, proof of Washington State residency, a curriculum vitae and a work sample description.
