AIBS Pre-Dissertation Fellowships
Purpose
The American Institute of Bangladesh Studies offers short-term grants to graduate students pursuing studies of Bangladesh funded by the U.S. Department of State Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs through the Council of American Overseas Research Centers.
Please note that all applications require a $25 processing fee. Awarding a grant to a student from a US institution that is a member of the AIBS will incur no additional fees but for submissions from non-represented institutions there is a $250 membership fee to be paid before an award can be dispersed.
Eligibility
Open to an individual member of AIBS and must have completed at least one year of graduate study in a recognized PhD granting institution and must be a US citizen.
