US and non-US applicants must be ANS student members enrolled in and attending an accredited institution in the United States. Academic accomplishments must be confirmed by transcript. The OPD Scholarship is intended for an undergraduate or graduate student. Applicants: must be enrolled in a course of study leading to a degree in nuclear science or engineering at an accredited institution in the United States; must have completed a minimum of two complete academic years in a four-year nuclear science or engineering program; must be U.S. citizens or possess a permanent resident visa; must have intentions of working in the nuclear power industry.
