GeoEye Foundation Award for the Application of High-Resolution Digital Satellite Imagery
Purpose
To support remote sensing education and stimulate the development of applications high-resolution digital satellite imagery for applied research by graduate students.
The imagery award is one 500 sq. km scene from the GeoEye archive. Request for more square kilometers will be considered on a case-by-case basis. Please see the website for details.
Eligibility
Applicant should be full-time undergraduate or graduate student at an accredited college or university in the United States or Canada with image processing facilities appropriate for conducting the proposed work. Applicant should be a Student member of ASPRS.

Award Value
A grant of satellite imagery data up to 500 square kilometers (potential value of up to $20,000), and a certificate inscribed with the recipient’s name.
Application procedure
Applicants must submit the application form along with letters of recommendation and a brief 2-page proposal.
