To award an individual who has made outstanding long-term contributions to Aild Atlantic salmon conservation. The award reflects efforts on a regional or national level rather than a local or river specific contribution.
Nominations are welcome from ASF directors and membership at large.
The Atlantic Salmon Federation (ASF) is an international, non-profit organization that promotes the conservation and management of the Atlantic salmon and its environment. ASF has a network of seven regional councils, a membership of over 150 river associations and 40,000 volunteers. Regional offices cover the salmon's freshwater range in Canada and the United States of America.
