New Work – Writing and Recording

Purpose
These grants are designed to support one-off projects that involve the creation or recording of music of all types. They support one-off projects that involve the creative development and recording of new Australian music, including sound art and media art.

Eligibility
To be eligible, you must meet the general eligibility requirements and the specific eligibility requirements given at the website. Only composers, songwriters, sound/media artists and those involved with the creation of the new artistic work for which funding is being requested can apply to this category. If you are collaborating with others to create new work for a group, you may nominate one of the collaborators to apply on behalf of the group.
