Applicants must be Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander women; must be enrolled in a Masters or Doctorate by coursework at a South Australian university; must not be employed full-time, or on fully-paid study leave; must not have received an AFUW-SA Scholarship in this category in 2012.

Application procedure
Selection of winners is based primarily on academic merit, but also on financial need, the importance of the purpose for which the bursary will be used to the progress or completion of the degree, community activities and other interests. Your application must reach the Trust Fund's secretarial service by deadline.
