Applicants must be a citizen of a country other than Australia or New Zealand; have gained and formally accepted a place in an undergraduate or postgraduate program at Australian Catholic University (ACU); attend at the relevant ACU campus as a full-time student; not be in receipt of another major scholarship or award; not be attending ACU as a Study Abroad or Exchange student.

Applications should include details of the applicant's course of study at ACU; evidence of academic merit including achievement of an average of at least 80 per cent across the applicant's secondary study (for undergraduate students) or undergraduate study (for postgraduate students), whether at ACU or elsewhere.
