Sophia Scholarship
Awarded by Australian Catholic University

Purpose
Established in 2011, the Sophia Scholarship was initiated by the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Students Learning and Teaching) to reward students who are participating in extraordinary activities for the common good.
Recipients will be selected by the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Students, Learning and Teaching) and one or more Associate Vice-Chancellors.
Eligibility
Open to full-time or part-time students from any campus at either undergraduate or postgraduate level. Applications are also invited from ACU Alumni.

Application procedure
Applications must include a written statement of no more than 250 words detailing applicant's involvement and impact on an extraordinary activity or project that is for the benefit of the common good. Statement should also detail how financial support can help progress or have an impact on the activity or project.
