ASPRS Ta Liang Memorial Award
Purpose
To facilitate research-related travel by outstanding graduate students.
The recipient is obligated to provide ASPRS and Ta Liang's family, a report of his/her accomplishments during the travel for which the award is granted. The selection committee will evaluate each application, applying necessary weights as indicated below: 40% on the basis of scholastic record; 30% on the basis of the research travel plan; 20% on the basis of letters of recommendation; 10% on the basis of community service activities. Application procedure
Applicants must submit an application form and recommendation letters. In addition to that they must also submit a 2 page statement detailing the plan for research-related travel, transcripts and Graduate Record Examination scores.
