To help build the human resources necessary for economic, social and cultural development in the southern African region and to develop an educated and skilled workforce that can benefit the wider community.
Applicants must have completed either a university degree or a three year post-matric diploma at a recognised training college or a B.Tech at a former technikon. Academic achievement, work experience, motivation, relevance of the course to southern Africa's needs, and commitment to community and country are all factors in selection. Open to students from South Africa, Namibia, Botswana, Swaziland, Lesotho, Zimbabwe, Zambia, Malawi, Angola and Mozambique.
Maintenance and tuition fees, or partial grants
Application form can be downloaded from website between April and August. Two copies of the application form for study in South Africa must be completed and returned by post, together with the required enclosures, in good time for August.
