Purpose

To fund research into regional collections, which will make a contribution to the National Inventory Research Project.

Researchers are most welcome to spend all or some part of the research period in the National Gallery Library, but this is not obligatory.

A maximum of UK £5,000

Application procedure

There is no application form. Please submit a project plan including a list of paintings to be researched and a detailed budget, together with a letter of support from a senior curator or other responsible person and a curriculum vitae for the person who carry out the research.

April 30th and October 30th
