Purpose

To enable picture-book artists to further their understanding, training and work in the picture-book genre.

Eligibility

Open to both full and associate members of the Society who, as artists, seriously intend to make picture books their chief contribution to the field of children's literature.

The full grant is US$1,500 and the runner-up grant is US$500

Application procedure

Applicants must submit an application to the Society. Receipt of the application will be acknowledged.

Closing date

Application requests should be submitted by June 15th and completed applications should be submitted by February 10th
