CIALS Cambridge Scholarships


To support study towards the Master of Law (LLM) degree.


Open to graduates of Canadian law schools who have completed a Bachelor of Law degree on or before June 1st. Applicants must be Canadian citizens. Applicants must apply to the University of Cambridge and be offered a place at Cambridge in the normal way. All applicants must have a First Class or High Second Class (Honours) Degree or equivalent and normally be under 26.

Award Value

University Composition Fee at overseas rate. Approved College fees. Maintenance allowance & a contribution to return airfare by cheapest route. Thesis expenses to £225, travel grant to £100. Grant towards excess book baggage to 10k on return home.

Applicants must apply in writing to the Executive Director of the Canadian Institute for Advanced Legal Studies (CIALS).
