WREI Congressional Fellowships on Women and Public Policy
Purpose
To encourage more effective participation by women in the formulation of public policy. To train feminist leaders in legislative procedure at the national level.
Fellows are selected on the basis of academic competence as well as their demonstrated interest in the public policy process. They are expected to be articulate and adaptable and to have strong writing skills.
Eligibility
Open to students who are currently in, or have recently completed a graduate or professional degree programme at an accredited institution in the United States.

Award Value
Stipend of approximately $1,450 per month, up to $500 for purchase of health insurance, reimbursement up to a maximum of $1,500 for the cost of tuition at their home institutions
