CSCMP George A Gecowets Graduate Scholarship Program
Purpose
To acknowledge the importance of logistics in a tangible way, while emphasising the Council's commitment to promote the art and science of managing logistics systems.
The Council wishes to make high potential students aware of the tremendous opportunities and challenges that await them in a career in logistics management, as the last 10 years have seen an exponential increase in the importance of the logistics manager.
Eligibility
Applicants must be planning to pursue a career in logistics management, be a senior at an accredited 4 year college or university, and already be enrolled in the first year of a logistics or logistics related Master's degree programme.

Application procedure
Applicants must submit a completed application, official college transcripts, Graduate Record Examination scores or Graduate Management Admission Test scores, and notification of any changes in address, school enrolment, or other pertinent information. The Citizens' Scholarship Foundation of America (CSFA) will then send a complete application package upon request.

The Council of Supply Chain Management Professionals (CSCMP) is a non-profit organization of business personnel who are interested in improving their logistics management skills. CSCMP works in co-operation with private industry and various organizations to further the understanding and development of the logistics concept. This is accomplished through a continuing programme of organized activities, research and meetings designed to develop the theory and understanding of the logistics process, promote the art and science of managing logistics systems, and foster professional dialogue and development within the profession.
